Pacific Health Labs

When I first started triathlon in college, my mom, who is a dietician, did extensive research on all the sports drinks that were available for endurance athletes. She compared the electrolyte levels, sugar, carbohydrate, protein, calories, etc. and then gave me a list of the best to choose from. At the top of that list was Accelerade. I have never heard of it and wanted to go with a more popular brand like Powerade (Gatorade is too sugary for me!), but momma knows best, so I invested in Accelerade as my only sports drink, and I have never looked back.

Although my goals and dreams have changed since being a novice triathlete, my main fuel source has not. I will still use Accelerade, Accel Gels, and Endurox every step of my journey as I work my way to the top. I feel so lucky and blessed to be able to be an ambassador for a company and product that powers my passions (literally! :) ).

Teams

Team Zoot
http://zootsports.com/

My first triathlon suit was a Zoot suit. I didn't know any better or any other brands. 4 years later, I still don't know any better! My collection has now grown with Zoot shoes (at least 6 of them), Zoot wetsuit, Zoot shirts, Zoot hats, etc. If you can't tell, I'm a huge fan of Zoot and their quality of triathlon products. It was a dream come true to be selected to be a part of the Team Zoot Texas team because I get to legitimately represent my favorite triathlon brand and fill my closet with more Zoot swag! :)

Bike Barn Developmental Team
http://bikebarn.com/about/about-tri-club-pg1704.htm

Bike Barn was the first local bike shop that I ever visited. My sister, who dragged me into riding the MS150 with her, told me to visit them for my cycling needs. Bike Barn became my staple store, and I still find myself visiting there almost weekly. I bought my first triathlon bike from them, so our relationship is sentimental. ;) It was an honor to be selected to race for Bike Barn's Developmental Team, and I hope to do them proud and to earn enough accolades to earn a spot on the Elite team next year. Bike Barn is not just a store to me anymore, it's a place that makes dreams come true. The bike fitters, cashiers, and service workers have all become like family and they constantly support and encourage me in my endeavors.
